Unit 36 Assignment 1
Before we get to the juicy php and mysql assignment we need to look at web servers and how they are used and setup in the real world.
This is a research only assignment. You will need to research what some popular IT acronyms are and how they apply in the world of web servers.
Unit 35/36 Assignment 2
Task 1) Theory - spec up hardware and software needed to run system (do a Spreadsheet)
Task 2) Create system (Php / Mysql ect, with Screen shots)
Task 3) In theory how would you setup a low usage system (ie WAMP) to run this system
Task 4) Now practically setup this system and answer the 4 question I gave you.
Step One create a working php/mysql address book
Address book
Email campaign software (note this works only in college)
Now its your turn!
You need an address book, and the email content
The email content includes :-
A youtube clip
A title (with editable size and font size and colour)
and body text.
Also finally a way of mass emailing everyone in your address book the email you set.
Have fun and look at
"mailchimp" who do this professionally!
